Not sure what that figure is meant to represent (i.e. the chance of exactly what?) but according to http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/premium-bonds-calculator/ there is only a 1 in 22,030 chance of a £5K holding yielding nothing over 5 years, so the odds would be even worse for 70 months rather than 60.WaywardDriver wrote: »Chances are approx. 1 in 100 - suppose someone has to be that person.0 -

Made a mistake entering the figures into my Excel formula - apologies. The correct figure for no wins in 70 months on a holding of £5K is 1 in 116,642. This calculation uses the current win probability of 1 in 30,000 so the odds would be even higher if the previous 1 in 26,000 chance was used for earlier years. Not sure what that figure is meant to represent (i.e. the chance of exactly what?) but according to http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/premium-bonds-calculator/ there is only a 1 in 22,030 chance of a £5K holding yielding nothing over 5 years, so the odds would be even worse for 70 months rather than 60.0 -
