£25 for me. Now on 1.25% for the financial year, with one more draw to go.

    Nada on £5,075 :(
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

Noting for the 70th month in a row. Return on my 5k investment is terrific.

I have cashed in my non paying isas and bought £50, 000 of premium bonds, i have held 20k for some years , with modest winnings over the years.
My other half is also aiming to put more money in to bonds to top up his 17K already held.
So we are aiming for the max of 100k for us both.

I have been in shares for 20 years , and now opted out after a limited sucess, i feel like im to long in the tooth now !, for another 20 years of watching the footsie.

Worth a shot, wish I had 100k to put in!

Understand your point about the ftse, what age are you? I think for me that type of avenue is preferable as I am only 33 so plenty of years to (hopefully) benefit from growth, reinvested dividends etc.

The 5k PB's are just an aside in the hope of winning something, which is pathetic given that I've not won a penny in 6 years. Still have that monthly hope, however.

Chances are approx. 1 in 100 - suppose someone has to be that person.
