Yes, giving a couple of Premium Bonds for birth or Christening has always been a popular thing to do, but a bit strange if you think about it.... "Congratulations on the birth of your child, to celebrate I'm going to lend £2 to the Government in its name!"0 -

Met this couple on a cruise, who cashed in an Equitable Life pension around 1992, and got an annuity. :money:
