I was given £2 worth as a christianing present more years ago than I care to remember. Still awaiting a win.

Yes, giving a couple of Premium Bonds for birth or Christening has always been a popular thing to do, but a bit strange if you think about it.... "Congratulations on the birth of your child, to celebrate I'm going to lend £2 to the Government in its name!"

    I have a £1 holding. It's 55 years old now. No wins!

    3 x £25 .

    Yawn.

Looking forward to Bank of England raising interest rate, in response to 4% inflation in 2017.

...but if you believe some commentators, we will fall into a period of stagflation -and the Bank won't be able to lift interest rates for fear of killing the economy off totally:(

No mortgage right now. Even my car loan is on 0%.

I want interest rate to go up.

Met this couple on a cruise, who cashed in an Equitable Life pension around 1992, and got an annuity. :money:

Peak at 13%, just when I get an annuity, please.

After holding a £100 stake for 15 months I've finally had my first £25 return. I'm pretty happy with that.
