No, it's about normal. NS&I usually update the small value winners (winning £50 or £100) on the third working day of the month. Monday 5th June will be the third working day of the month.

I've won £50 a couple of times, and the cheque normally gets here by the 20th of the month. If i remember correctly furthur back in this thread a lady's husband won £100,000 and they got the cheque a couple of days after the 1st of the month.

Yep, it came on the third but it wasn't a cheque, just a notification. We had to send the winning bond in (which we did by recorded delivery) and the money was in the bank a couple of days later. It might have come even earlier if not for the bank holiday but that's just a guess.

Don't be so hasty TM. You say you've only held them for a couple of months? We only had 6k in for just over 2 years and won £100,000. My advice is if it's money that you can spare give it a chance.
However I realise that our win was a fantastic bit of luck but it does go to show that you have to be in it to win it.

Do they hold the draw on the 1st if its a sunday or bank holiday?

Actually I think they hold the draw on the 31st, since the numbers are always in the papers the "next day", which are of course published on the night of the 31st.

Now come on Ernie - update yourself! This is getting silly!

Well the prize pot has just been raided by nsandi so maybe in future we might get the update a little sooner, for the third day including weekends for instance & the payout if you win might get to you a little faster, don't think so though it will probably go to a buisness twinning on other side of the world and a fleet of new mercs for the directors.

Well it`s gone 3p.m and still no signs of the website posting the winners.I have had 600 pounds so far on a 25k holding this year.Oh has just put in 29k and this is her first draw.All very exciting!

I've got the max £30k in and have won most months.

My issue with premium bonds is why don't they simply pay the prizes into your bank account? It must take so much more administration to print all the warrants and issue them. You then have to wait the usual 5 days for it to clear - even though it is guaranted not to bounce as it is backed by the Treasury!!!

It is normally about the 20th that the small prizes are received - but if they paid directly into bank accounts - it would probably be much quicker, cheaper and more efficient!!

I have checked this morning and the website was updated, it said that I have won nothing for the month of May, this means that it's updated, is it not?
