    Won a £25 this month. Drew out £10,000 last month and made £1,600 on shares so think I know where my other £10,000 is going before next month!!

    I am not sure how much I have in premium bonds, but over 4k, had them for 19years ish, won my first prize last year of £500 :)

    Indeed, but I got them as a gift when I was born, so not too bothered, I still can't touch the money anyway! £500 up at the end of the day.

    Not really up, just less worse off would be the better way of looking at it.

    Only say that because even if averaged 4% a year growth you would have over 8k now.

    So its nice to have them as a gift but I think its only sensible if its a small token amount like the minimum of £100.
