I got 2 x £25 this month, checked on the NS&i site earlier in the month before it changed to the new layout.
Tried the new site today, it said I had not won in the last 6 months, however when I selected to check 'this month only' from the drop down list below where you enter your holders number it correctly showed this months 2 x £25 prizes.
Probably just some teething problems with the new site.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton
  • Have about £1,000 in premium bonds. Only won £25 over 5 or so years. I am looking to withdraw the money asap.
  • I did once have a holding of £3,100 about 6 years ago and found that when I invested I would win the following month. When I didn't invest, I never won anything. When a prize came to the house, I would hold the envelope and look to the sky thinking "please be £100, just this once" and everytime I opened it, I found the prize was always £50 (lowest prize at the time). I always did appreciate winning, but in the back of my mind I would always think "oh, another £50:("

A few years back I cashed them all in, but I kept a very old £10 premium bond which my parents bought for me when I was about 7 months old. I keep it, because the stamp date is August 24 1979. I have not won anything these numbers, but plan to keep the ticket for my whole life. I hope one day it will produce a win, I easily forget I hold it, so maybe it will produce a nice surprise.

  • I found an old £5 premium bond amongst some papers that I picked up from my parents a while back, that was given to me as a xmas gift in 1982. Punched in the numbers and found out I won £100!

I've sent off my change of address form and received confirmation of the win, so just waiting for the paperwork now ... happy days!

Good luck to all you Premium Bond holders this month, hope the big winner is off this here site.

Can't say i'm too keen on the new Premium Bond page on the NS&I site, the champagne bottles and all that clutter, but nothing ever stays the same does it ?

Probably be monday or tuesday before they put the prizes up.

...so I go to the new site today 1st April - and it tells me "I'm not a winner this month". Which month? as its only the 1st I assume it meant March - but I did win in March!

....and the High Value winners list which used to be published 1st of the month and which you used to be able to do a quick search on, until they introduced the "new advanced scrolling function" still shows March.

I emailed them and told them that its all well and good the champagne bottles but how do we know which month this month is? Is it March or is it April - tell them. I won twice last month and it said I am not a winner so perhaps its Aprils
quick mind!! However, since I emailed them I note that on the front page it says "have you won in April's draw" so . . .

Who designed this web page - it is appalling !!!

How can all the prizes for April be checked when the High Value prizes still indicate March 2011....
  • When I went to Prize Checker (top left) it did say April. Don't think much of the new NS&I site, either.
