  • Sorry to jump in with a question but I was given money to buy bonds so did this online. Then remembered I've since changed address, though still get mail redirected from old house. Also found I've an unclaimed £50. I rang and have to write to them for this. Will I be ok doing all this then changing the address or do you need proof etc? Just don't want to mess up the buying really as things are pretty tight with money going in and out.

In answer to the op, I have £130 and this unclaimed £50 is my only win

Hi, I am new to this forum.

I bought £1500 PBs in November 2008 and so far won £25, not a lot, but there is hope.

We have £25000 in a bank account with crap interest and are going to buy PBs with it and I hope to do better than the interest i get from Lloyds bank.

I just looked at this. How can you tell is you're a high value winner with only your holder number? As far as I can see, they list the winning bond numbers and I don't know all 15,150 by heart.

Your holder number is your individual account number with NS&I. It covers all your individual bond numbers that you hold

Yes, I know that, but when you look at the list of high value winners, you can't search the page by holder number because they just list the number of the individual bond that won the prize.

    Unless I'm missing something...

  • I scroll down the whole list looking for my county and the amount in £s that i hold. No big win for me again either.

Anyway - currently holding £20,000 since april 09 - i've won £25 per month every month since, with 2 £25 wins in January. I have a couple of thousand more i bought a few years ago but they never win!

just wait a couple of days and you can then use the checker - you have to wait until the full list has been uploaded.

OK. I don't think I won big this month. Just hope they're saving me for the million. ;)
