I have £4 invested since 1st November 1956, never won a darn thing. Can anyone beat that?

Also my dad is convinced that there are more in my name but we can't find a record of it how would I go about checking this out?

You have to write to them with full details of every address you have lived at. Did this for a partner some years ago and they sent him his £5 bond numbers and holders number. Try ringing them first for the address. They don't do much online, you have to write.

I will be withdrawing a sizeable chunk of my premium bonds soon and was wondering how long the process normally takes? Actually what is the process? :D ......had a look on the Nsandi site but it doesn't say.

Download the encashment form from the NS&I website, and send it off to them together with the bonds. Best to send registered post.

On the form you complete your bank details and they send you the money via BACS about 1-2 weeks later.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

I just have a single £1 bond from 1960, just had my first win in July - 500 Sovs.

It still wouldn't tempt me to buy another £29,999 until the number of prize fund winners increase by a great deal, maybe if base rates get back to 5% or 6%.
