My grandmother gave me £1000 in 1959.
I've had just one win of £1000 in 1980 so i then bought £500 moreHave had no wins since.
Must be my turn again soon!?! :rotfl:
Should be. Obviously the past doesn't affect the future, but your chances of winning in any given month are 1 in 15, and you should win on average three times every five years. I tried to work out the odds of having won nothing at all since 1980 and they broke my computer.
I got as far as that your chances of not winning anything at all for ten years are just over 1 in 5000. You passed the one in a million against mark in 1996.
You definitely haven't moved house and not told them?!Hurrah, now I have more thankings than postings, cheers everyone!0 -

i have since bought £1000 worth but won nothing !"what lies behind us & what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us" Ralph Waldo Emerson0 -

I was given £100 worth in 1950 and have NEVER had any wins!
Premium Bonds were not launched until 1956 with the first draw taking place in June 1957 hence the recent 50th Anniversary draws.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
I have just got my winnings of £50 in the post. I never check my numbers for the small winnings and I can't think of a nicer way to start a Monday. Not bad to win in January there are 11 more months to go!:j0

I've always wondered what if an individual holder won both the big £1m prizes from different bonds of course,...do nsandi then step in and redraw one of the big winnings or would they permit the double win meaning Agent Millionaire gets an extra day off that month!Beware Lego Men with Deep pockets...! :cool:0
