I wonder if the new 22% tax on non isa savings (after allowance) will lead to more funds going into premium bonds?

Just £25 for me this month on full holding. That brings the years total to £1825 (3.65%). An average of 2.5 wins per month. Just above average , so can't complain.

Surely we must be due a decent win soon!
Crikey! Someone's done even worse than me! Perhaps it'll our turn in 2026.pmets said:Nothing again on FH
This calendar year has been awful. 5 blanks, and winnings of £1000 altogether, very poor1 -
£75 on full holding this month; £25 + £50.
The winning bonds were part of a £4,000 batch purchased in 2020. That batch has now won £750/17 prizes.
Total winnings for 2025: £1,450, which is £25 less than last year, although it was the same number of prizes, 27:

We had fairly significant sums in PBs previously and had a reasonable return. We have now withdrawn (spent) most of that and have just under £10k between us.
The returns have reduced dramatically. I haven't had a win since January on £4750. It kind of emphasises what people say on here, you get closer to the average, when you are closer to a full holding.
I'm not sure what to do now. Probably closing it down and putting it into an interest bearing account would be the head over heart option.2
