Someone with a £14 holding from 1977 has won £100,000. And there's a £1 holding from June 1970 with a £1000 prize.Just proves that holding on is better than cashing in and rebuying.2

I had a £10 bond from 1992. When I set up a formal account 26 years later I enquired about them and got them allocated to my new holder number.0
