Twink - that is my favouritest poem - and I hope to live up to it

I am a tweeny - only thirty-eleven but am a nana with all but one dd having flown the nest. i keep telling the girls that they musn't let me be a burden but should ship me off as soon as I show signs of senility - their reply - how would they know - I never get their names right as it is

i have a brilliant mental image of thirty or so of martyn's harem turning up at the motorhome just as the A-Z visits -
btw .... i like the sound of that drinks cabinet :)
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    Whaddya mean, a laugh???

I've just got the front-runners shortlisted and I'm sorry to be mercenary but the free electric is swaying it somewhat. Having said that, it might be a hell of a trek from here but I'm not dismissing Scotland either ;)

Hiya! Wow a long thread today! ;)

Smokybabe Thinking about you and your's and sending an enormous hug in your direction.

The weather here today was wet, windy and grey. The wm has been on and needless to say the wet clothes are hung all over the house.
It was my MIL's 82nd birthday today so we went over to her's and had lunch with her. She is still housebound and we couldn't persuade her to go out with us for lunch, so instead we had a selection of pizzas and salads. The girls and I made a bright pink banana cake and they wrote iced messages on it for her. She seemed to be really pleased and we had a nice afternoon with her.

Tonight, DH and I are going to attempt to clear the front room in preparation for tomorrow's DIY. The girls are going to the dentist in the morning and then they're staying at my parent's until Thursday. The plan is for DH and I to do a non-stop 'paint-athon' while the girls aren't here!
    Have a peaceful evening all!
