Ironing mountain demolished with no help from DH - he's not home yet, still on the train because he met a Japanese couple on the tube who were lost and in danger of missing their train so he took them to get on their Eurostar!!

Far be it from me to sound uncharitable (I had to have 4 goes at typing that word ) but I am a Motorcaravanner. I moved "up" from a trailer caravan years ago (wait for it...) and have got used to home comforts such as on-board fresh and waste water tanks. I'm not drinking water that's been through a piece of old rubber hose thank you.

For God's sake, is that it?? Am I not worth fighting for?? You can't give up so close to the final whistle. Check your 'fridge for a pot of dripping, (or carrot cake/vanilla slices/egg custards or anything like that ) that might be all it needs.

Yorkshire puddings be damned......you should see my dumplings!!!!!:rolleyes: leccy, wine, home cooked meal with dumplings.........he's mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! I'll even iron your laundry and walk the dog whilst you are eating the dumplings and you can have carrot cake for afters, if there is any left after you have done your duty..........................you can take it with you..............mind you you might not have the strength to eat it..........could always do toast and dripping whilst the dumplings are cooking.................

I am retiring for the night, I have to get up at god knows what o'clock to take my friend to the airport, she rang me earlier to ask if I can take her to catch a flight to Cyprus tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The things I do for friends............
