fridayschild, i only the other day emailed asda after i had items missing and out of date, i also had been over charged to the tune of £600! this didnt come out of my account thankfully and they replied to my email within 24hours with a £10 e voucher attatched they couldnt appologise enough. I suppose they deal with everybody differently, you could try another email addy incase they arnt recieving them? not sure really. as long as you get your money back for the items and a bit of compo i suppose there's not much else you can do.0

I've had some teething problems with fledgling ASDA home delivery service too. "LOST" drivers, "LOST" shopping, which the local store said they would re-deliver "either later on today or tomorrow", - AKA "at our convenience, not yours". E-mails to their home.shopping@ address bounced back a few days later, 'phone calls to the local store went to voicemail. An e-mail via the contact us page on the web-site got a £5 e-voucher, which given the frequency and seriousness of my problems with their home delivery service is neither here or there.
Last week's delivery the driver had obviously been warned to be on best behaviour. However, some bright spark had packed fresh raspberries, in a bag along with a large bag of onions and a 1.5kg fresh chicken. I was left with a bag dripping raspberry puree over my floor and the rest of my shopping. I was so exasperated at this point, I got my husband to call the helpline to complain and explain not only the general stupidity, but also the wider food hygiene implications of putting soft fruit products in a bag with raw meat. They deducted the cost of the raspberries and chicken from my bill, but the most annoying of all is knowing that I nothing will change in response to my complaint and so I must remember to keep their helpline number on speedial... I anticipate that one day my shopping will arrive complete, free of daft substitute items, on time, without damage.
THE MORAL OF THE STORY IS: Complaining gets you money off, but doesn't really address the real core of the problem... ASDA need to sort themselves out and put the systems properly in place to manage a home shopping service.0 -
I must be really lucky (and long may it continue) but all my deliveries arrive on time, well packed and chilled/frozen as they should be. The drivers are all lovely (on first name terms with one of them lol) I hardly ever have to send substitutions back, and when I do it's cos my kids are picky not because what they have sent is something stupid.
The home delivery team at the Peterlee branch of asda are brilliant.0 -

:T  beers are on me0 -
Currently having wars with them over 2 cases of beer, which the appalling driver had conveniently forgotten to record that I sent back.
I called them on the day because so much of what i wanted was missing/out of stock and because the driver was bl**dy dreadful. He was early and had made repeated calls to the mobile (was on silent from the night before - d'oh!) because he wanted to come here first to make his deliveries easier! So he just turned up anyway, dumped the shopping on the front door step (so I still had to carry it all which kinda defeats my objective for having it delivered) and to be honest, smelt so much I was having to hold my breath!
Seems he also forgot to refund the beer I sent back and the store has today authorised a goodwill gesture refund for said beer because it didn't make it back to the store apparently!
Update - Refund is apparently going back on my card within 7-14 days (good job it's not a life changing amount, although that's hardly the point). We shall wait and see - however, she's still got the amount wrong and despite me pointing that out to her just now, she's crediting me with the full price for each case, so in effect, they will have paid me £4 not to take delivery of it!
I'm fuming - every time I use them they get it worng! It aint over til I've done singing....0 -
