Cheers taxi
We probably will have to use some of the money allocated for debts to pay for some of this weekend and the two weddings we have got coming up, so will effect my debt free date which bothers me but I just need to accept it.
I am really hoping the bank won't charge me as there was no money actually taken it just was on hold and I will appeal to their better nature if they do charge me, as I don't think I've had any bank charges for almost two years now, which is a huge achievement as prior to that I was charged £100 per month at least!
I have already entered online for next year and already asked the charity for a golden bond place if I'm not accepted. I did say I wouldn't do it for charity again as it was a lot of pressure, but the sense of achievement of raising that much money is pretty amazing and it is all for a good cause so I think I would do it again.
I'm so sad I've printed off a training plan for a half marathon I am doing already, although my knee is agony and so may have to rest for a while. Going to see the Dr if it doesn't improve.
So hard trying to concentrate on work though :rolleyes:Long haulers supporters DFW #109NR Loan #1 - £2951.18 Nov 08/0 -
Be careful with that knee please as you can't be too careful ..0

OK madam... One wee pep talk then onwards... don't you EVEN CONSIDER panicking and giving up and spending. You have had an AMAZING weekend and it is inevitable that a sense of anti climax would hit. ask yourself what you would've done this time last year? would you have been anywhere near as organised for the FLM or would you have happily paid out on the cc for lunches dinners a snack after the marathon etc?
you are doing incredibly well being so organised and i KNOW that you will get the accounts straight. so ner nicki ner ners right!!!
anyway, onwards, wheres the half marathon??? me to me to me to!!!:j :rotfl: can i play? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:debt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0 -
Thank you both :T
Just annoyed re bank and putting money on CC, hate doing it but fingers crossed will be repaid in full, but then had hoped the bonus would pay off the existing debt rather than extra debt
Half marathon is GNR, but if you fancy looking for something midway between us I'm up for it if you are?
Definately got the bug, is wierd to have no runs to do this week as it has been constant for 18 weeks, need to remember not to eat quite as much, after having JP and cheese for dinner, chocolate x 2, crisps and a cake  :rotfl: and I was naughty and didn't bring packed lunch in, but was just tooo tired. Back to good DFW ways tomorrow though.Long haulers supporters DFW #109NR Loan #1 - £2951.18 Nov 08/0 -

Ok, did the deed and sorted the up to date money situation out.
Checked online banking and they had indeed kindly charged me £25 despite having paid enough money in to cover the balance within 20 mins. Had a polite conversation on the phone and they agreed to refund the charge :j but said they would not refund any more charges, politely told them I wouldn't incur any more charges.
Money is going to be very tight until next pay day and beyond I suspect. We have about £60 left in the joint account and we have no choice but to make that last for 2 weeks as there quite simply is nothing in the pot  I am hoping DH gets paid next Friday so that will mean we have 8 days to cope with little money  Desperately need to do some food shopping but I always use Tescos CC for that as I pay money on that upfront for food so all is not lost I guess.
My other qualm is that DH put his expenses in late, so they are not paying them until the end of the month, but I need to pay the expenses off the CC as soon as possible as DH is due to go away again and has to pay for his flights upfront etc. Why is life never simple? Feeling really stressed this morning about it all,   It has been a long time since I have felt this desperate in the middle of the month and it just goes to show how one weekend of enjoyment can make it all go a bit pete tong!
Have just been looking on a wholesalers list to see whether I can buy anything wholesale and put it on ebay next month to make some profit, need to get some resourcefulness in place me thinks...................Long haulers supporters DFW #109NR Loan #1 - £2951.18 Nov 08/0 -
Hi JB. I do sympathise, we are having the same kind of month here. It is so wearing, isn't it? Good luck with the wholesalers thing, I'm too chicken to do that myself. Have you got nothing left you could ebay?Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620

Hi Sea
I sympathised on your thread. I felt so in control and this has just thrown me sideways. We can repay the money that we have had to put on the CC but we will have to use DH's bonus which I had planned for other things
I did find some ok things on Wholesaler which I could sell for a profit without much outlay, but pathetically I am knackered. Have a lot of stuff going on emotionally and I think it has started to take its toll today as the Marathon excitement calms down and normality returns. Bless my poor colleague, I have burst into tears already this morning. He's only a young bloke but he was really nice, not even sure why I was crying
Jeez, it's going to be one of those days.........................Long haulers supporters DFW #109NR Loan #1 - £2951.18 Nov 08/0 -
CHOCOLATE!!!!!!! go get now!!! this has just confirmed what i put on the running thread. If you need to cry hon, cry, keeping it in just feels lousy. when you get home punch some cushions if you need to, it is an amazing stress reliever (just make sure the family aren't in or they'll look at you as if you've turned into a fruit bat.)
You have a massive reason to feel a bit poop, indulge it for a while, let yourself get used to the feeling then work your way back up the otherside and back out into sunshine.
And have a massive hug to take along with you. xxxdebt @05/11/11 £12210.63!! slowly chipping away!!:heart2:impossible is nothing.:heart2:0
