    Next hotspot:

This is a corridoor/bedroom4 - it also serves as our main storage area as the loft hatch is too small to get anything in. Under that junk is a fireplace, a loo, a sink, three cats, two small boys.......

  • I told myself off for being such a wimp... I went into the garage... (without glasses on) looked and it is not a whole bunch of tangled spiders webs it is fur (I am almost sure :rotfl: ) so I closed the door.

Thanks to luby-lou and mudbath for agreeing with my thoughts on this matter!!!

btw it died warm - it was wrapped up in some weed control fabric. Last one was in a painting sheet... I didn't find it until I was covering dd2's carpet and I  honestly I looked just like that :rotfl:

ok dd2 just having an apricot oatmeal bar and then we can go to the coup. I have an hour to get rid of recycling, pick up some peppers to add to supper and start cooking.

Wow Pigpen - a huge amount of work has gone into that. What are your plans for the fireplace?

:rotfl: :rotfl: Pigpen I remember those pics from last summer and I'm not surprised its taken so long but what a result. Why are you taking out the fireplace it looks like an original and is lovely.

My bin room upstairs is like the before pictures and I have managed to clear the old high sleeper in there and have managed to take most of it apart - did ask OH to help me but he snuck off back to bed (he is on nights again tonight). Cant get the rest of it apart so stuck now as I wanted to remove the bed then put our big desk which is currently upended in there into its place so we can at least file paperwork away which is currently scattered all over the house (hidden away of course). Next challenge is how to persuade DD that she really doesnt need 4 bin bags worth of teddies (9 years worth) and what do you all do with them.

GnB I hope your thumb has settled now, and just to let you know that the throbbing is usually a sign that your er erm 'bandage' is too tight. People often think they have to have it tight to stop the bleeding but as soon as you release the pressure it will start again. You are better to apply a light pressure, even with a finger for about 10 minutes as this is approx how long the clotting process takes, then apply your plaster or piece of tape, and yes raise the limb if the bleeding is bad.

I am bored with the bin now and have boxes all the way along the top hallway and the only place to put them is er back in the bin :rotfl:
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Mudbath, that's shocking, you were supposed to do the drawers!!! Oh and maybe make it 'physical' that amount is quite a lot but you could have 108 beads? then put them into piles of 20. It's usually difficult for a lot of children to put numeracy into 'real life' situations. If you don't want to get the beads out maybe draw several boxes, then put 20 in each until she gets to 108.

Had to dash, get DS2 from school, they said he'd started feeling dizzy etc. His face is a bit of a mess where he's cut it etc and he's going to have one heck of a bump on the side of his head.
One day I might be more organised...........
