Banking problem

I had a small enough amount in my account for the last week or two. I withdrew some funds on a couple of occassions, oblivious to the fact that I didn't have enough in my account. It's now at a negative amount (-€50 to be exact). How will the bank react to this? I will have funds coming in next Monday but nothing before that. Do I contact them or will they be contacting me? How will this affect my reputation at the bank?

Are you in the UK or elsewhere?
I ask because of the Euro symbol in your question.

Personnaly, I would give the bank a call. Explained what you've just said here. They might be happy to give you a temporary overdraft to cover until you get some money coming into the account?

Yeah I think I'll ring them just to be safe. Pity the banks don't open till Tuesday though

The banking rules and charges in UK and Eire are totally different. As this is a UK based site I cannot help.
