Strangely enough, i rang O2 on wednesday evening regarding a PAC code for my payg number. After some security questions, i got given my code there and then. Also received it in post today.

I tried the o2 landline number on http://www.saynoto0870.co.uk/ to get the landline number. the number is 0161 7055386

Can somebody please give their opinion whether i should go with easymobile or Tesco's value tariff. They both seem pretty good for low users.

    Many thanks.

It depends on the reception in the areas you are likely to use. EasyMobile uses the T-Mobile network and Tesco uses the o2 network.

Personally though, If you shop or have a Tesco shop nearby then I'd go for Tesco Mobile because their balance operates on a real-time basis and therefore you can always get a balance enquiry that is upto date.

EasyMobile don't operate a real-time balance enquiry and therefore it can be difficult get a balance though they apparently do warn you when you have a few pound left. I also believe that EasyMobile charge you for topping up and will also charge you if you don't use the phone whereas Tesco don't do any of this (as far as I'm aware).
