they could tell us though couldn't they?
Why??
"shop at tescos this week, due to the rising cost of oil our diesel is more expensive and we've had to put prices up a bit, also grain futures have gone through the roof so expect bread to be up a bit too"
Would not make much of an advert..."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

Withabix, i hope you can fit your head through the door as you seem to have a brain the size of Cardiff. How pleased and smug you must be every day what with being the cleverest person in the world.
Calm down dear, it's only a discussion..."Love you Dave Brooker! x"

So everyone who is not you is a genius?
Prices go up all the time, it is called inflation, and a sign at the front of the door explaining this would insult me more than a sign saying prices are "sneakily" being put up.
It would also become redundant after one day.
The reason bakers etc have the sign is because regular customers will have the correct change ready, or the bakery thinks that the customers will act like you and go to another shop.
The difference betwen the baker and the supermarket is that the supermarket will put their prices back down if things become cheaper.S!!!!horpe0 -
