If they try to put them through by overriding the cost to zero the free red bag offer wont work because the till recognises that you arent spending enough to get the free gift

Its all in the way they put the items through and if you get an inexperienced cashier or someone who just thinks its not right for you to get the gift ( you know the type :rotfl: ) they wont put it through so the offers work

This was exactly what I bought and had a new cashier who didn't know what to do when the voucher didn't scan. She called a supervisor who said I shouldn't have the free gift as well but as it was through I could have it!!!! It was a little embarassing but I survived!

This sounds really inconsistent from store to store - I was looking at the £15 No7 Brush Set (Christmas) and asked if it qualified for the Bag - the assistant said yes but told me that if I bought three Brush Sets on 3 for 2 I would get 2 free gifts, ie one for each that was paid for.

Having not done any actual purchasing though I couldn't guarantee this would be the case if I were to get a different assistant perhaps!

I used my parenting voucher on a £15 pot of cream - but they wouldn't give me the free bag ! Should I complain?????

Yesterday got two hand washes on everyday indulgence (two for one) one primrose shower gel and one alternatives indigestion remedy. Total came to £4.97 paid with £5 voucher and got 450 points with machine vouchers (150 indulgence, 100 primrose, 200 alternative). Thank you Mr B!

In the course of putting through three separate transactions to spend 3 £5 vouchers, with loads of different tokens and 3 for 2s,I also put through 2 150 point extras on my 2 for 1 Everyday indulgence handwashes at £2.49. I hadn't read that it said only one per transaction, and the lady didn't notice, so got 300 points for £2.49 Ha!
Actually I had a great hour sorting out all the bits and pieces of paper- thanks for the handwash tip! :money: :T

bedford boots are happy to give the free no7 gifts with gift sets, i got three £15 no7 gifts on 3 for 2 and got 2 free gifts (1 for each £15 spent) also needed some make up for myself, spent £18, got a free no7 gift and also 200 extra points as there is a coupn form the advantage machine for extra points on the illuminating powders, plus spend over £35 get 400 points. not as good as some of the other total spends but better than a kick in the teeth!

oh and also at the machine - £4 off £14 hackett kit bag, can be used on 3for2 offer also

free toni and guy / trevor sorbie mini haircare product, works on the 3for 2 so i got three minis for £1.59 total , good stocking fillers!

It happened to me as well. I didn't cause a fuss, but was quite annoyed.
