Not sure but don't think that would work - they'd have to cancel the first transaction, I think?

So yes, I think the only way to get several and get points for each one would be to do them all separately. It's a pain, but hey, it's free stuff :D

I pick up a Primrose shower gel every time I pop into Boots these days to get my 100 points with a voucher (as the till only gives you 100 points per tranaction no matter how many you buy) ;)
I thought the primrose voucher could only be used on skincare?

That's what it says on the voucher, but the till adds the points for the gel as well (99p - 100 points :D) :j

Thanks will try next time if the machine gives me the voucher again.

I brought 2 shower gels and handed over 2 100points voucher and a 10% off coupon and I got 207 points back onto my Boots card ok.
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
    Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
    Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)
  • Most offers will work if the cashier puts them through properly!

i used a boots parenting club no7 free item voucher yesterday. Got a £16 cream and the red bag free - i had to tell the cashier to put the coupon through as a boots coupon for the offer to work though.

If they try to put them through by overriding the cost to zero the free red bag offer wont work because the till recognises that you arent spending enough to get the free gift ;)

Its all in the way they put the items through and if you get an inexperienced cashier or someone who just thinks its not right for you to get the gift ( you know the type :rotfl: ) they wont put it through so the offers work

Hi, I thought I would mention that the till accepts the 100 point voucher for the liquid soap also priced 99p. I tried with the bar of soap but that was rejected.

Really? That's good to know. :) I just had an embarrassing experience involving 12 shower gels and only 100 points and that's why I thought it wouldn't work, but the lady did faff about a lot that time so I'm not surprised.

And thanks shrewdal for letting us know about the liquid soap - I've got enough shower gel to last me a year! :rotfl:

What are your imprssions on the Olympus FE5500 - albeit having just purchased? Nice and small? Big screen?

Middlestitch - were the 2400 extra points a store promotion thing then?

    cheers

Sorry, I thought this had probably been posted already, but my use of the search function leaves something to be desired!

Very pleased with the Olympus FE5500 (incidentally, Argos were selling it at £229.99 but have now cut the price by £50). It is tiny, light, robust and has a 2" screen. Picture quality is excellent and buttons are easy to access and use.

Not sure about it being store-specific points - there seemed to be points and vouchers flying around in all directions!! Sorry to sound so unhelpful. I think the answer is probably yes, given that it was late night shopping in Oxford Street and there were loads of assistants around dishing out promotional material encouraging you to spend at least £50.

Yes I tried 2 shower gels and two 100 points coupons at Chester on Tuesday and it worked.

Even with 5 of us including 3 teenagers we dont seem to get through enough shower gel so I am not going overboard on this, despite the lovely points. We have 2 shower gels in action that were first used in August.

I also noticed talc in the range for £1.29, would make a nice little set with the shower gel
