Been posted already Middlestitch, Yes good price bought one myself last week when Boots had triple points + 1500 Points code for buying something over £100 so I ended worth £30 points. But the gotcha is the average price for a Olympus FE-5500 via online shops is about £169-£189 so when Boots say it was £259 that £259 price is suggested retail price which was never the price to begin with.
  • What are your imprssions on the Olympus FE5500 - albeit having just purchased? Nice and small? Big screen?

Middlestitch - were the 2400 extra points a store promotion thing then?

    cheers

    :T

Agree with you. We also bought the Olympus this week. I went home to check out our bargain because I am very dubious when it comes to half price sales. I also found out that this is being sold for approx £170-£190, so it is still a bargain at a £130, especially with the 1500 points on top. I don't know that you would have paid £260 for it!

I bpught one of the lovely no7 gift sets for £15 tonight and some other bits and pieces, I got the free bag (which your not supposed to get with the gift sets), 300 extra points for spending over £30 and a £5 voucher for spending over £20.

Gonna go back tomorow and try my luck to get the three gift sets on 3 for 2 and hopefully get the free bags, extra points and voucher.

Went to boots again this morning, bought 3 for 2 no 7 gift sets, £15 each, got three of the free bags, used 300 points for spending £30 and used a 250 points voucher out of the gift set i bought yesterday. And got the £5 voucher for spending £20. All in all a good shop.

Did the SA query the free bag with a No 7 Christmas Gift set or just put it through?

I tried to buy a £15 gift set to get a free bag & the SA couldn't put it throught the till.

I bougth 3 gifts sets from No7 and was told i couldnt have the free bag. i have emailed Boots and asked them why?
  • with the 200 points for the Boots Alternitives range - what is the best way to "buy" them please? I used 2 coupons on the decongestant oils. Paid for one £1.99 and gave the points vouchers. and then paid the other n gave points voucher, or can you in theory get them to scan item, scan voucher and then say redeem ???

Not sure but don't think that would work - they'd have to cancel the first transaction, I think?

So yes, I think the only way to get several and get points for each one would be to do them all separately. It's a pain, but hey, it's free stuff :D

I pick up a Primrose shower gel every time I pop into Boots these days to get my 100 points with a voucher (as the till only gives you 100 points per tranaction no matter how many you buy) ;)
