I do take up some of the boots offers if i am fortunate enough to get there on time, but i will usually go for the ones that pay you to take them and i dont go too mad about it either.
the way i see it, you are taking valuable cash from your bank and changing it into boots advantage points that you can only spend on boots merchandise and i don't shop much in boots anyway so i can't justify having all those points, i think i have about £15 from the aroma bears but that allRunning total for swagbucks - £270 since Jan
Running total for superpoints -:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Advantage Card Machine gave me a voucher for 100 points on children's medicines this morning, the till is also adding 100 points for children's medicines, there was a sign up behind the pharmacy. I needed some more calpol anyway, so paid £2.39 and got 200 points :j
This would probably work on cheaper items too - not sure, this is untested.
Also got a voucher for 25 points for a meal deal - however ALL meal deals are now £2.99, they were putting signs up instore this morning.
But I did get a skincare voucher, tried the 2 x botanics clarifying sets for £6 but that doesn't seem to be working any more so took 1 back for a refund.0 -
I've just posted on Vouchers about a new Boots loophole: get free Huggies pull-up trial packs & vouchers!!! I love Boots tills!!!0

boots NO7 have an offer of spend £15 and get a free boxed gift set and you can use your £5 vouchure as part payment... wonderful0

I tried to get the 500 R&m point if you buy 2 cosmetic items but they refused to give me points as I had purchased 2 cosmetic sponges not make-up0

Tried that too but the sponges went thru at 1p each but no points. However FCUK cosmetics all reduced to half price any 2 with 500 bonus pts. Nails files were £1.50 so £3 spend to get 500 pts. Used that to get a skincare voucher so picked up No 7 - nice SA suggested I use my voucher too! (as if I was going to leave it in my purse). So got the No 7 box too. Used my Love2Shop off Pigs.com and ended up with another voucher so back to get some more goodies. Cashed in some of my points for a slow cooker.
Worked out that my total haul was about £85 but it only cost me £3 in actual money - but as I was leaving the alarm went! I'm not surprised was the response from my daughter - one of these days Boots will be giving you money as well as your goodies!
I just smiled sweetly as the security man scanned the security tag and told my daughter when we were outside - that Boots have been giving me money for the past year.0 -
I bought the Huggies trial packs and got a skincare voucher, which I then spent on 3 products (totalling £25 - I GAVE Boots some money!!!!!) - £1.50 extra points from the AC machine, £5 off with skincare voucher, and free box of goodies too. OK, I had to spend, but I got a Christmas pressie for my sis for £20 and some freebies for me too.

Another great deal:
2 x Teething Gel = £2.98 and 200 points
1 x teething power = £2.59 and 100 points
9 x huggies nappies at 2 for £16 and 200 points each = £73 and 1800 points
1000 points for spending over £75
948 points for triple points
£5 off *** code removed by Board Guide *** (the only other code which would work on my account was for 500 points off, but I preferred the £5 off -already used the great 1500 baby points one before!)
so...
£73 and 4048 points - w00t!
oh, and went through quidco, so £3.29 cashback....every little helps!
BTW re the R&M sponges - are you picking up the right ones? The smallest sponges are free when you buy the compact powder so these might be the ones that scan through at 1p with no points. The other ones are £2 each and definately go through automatically wiht 500 points when you buy 2. The powder puffs are £3.50 each and again automatically result in the 500 points.0
