Boots must seem to be doing very nicely thank you. However, if everybody redeemed their vouchers, it may tell a very different tale.

I seriously wonder if Boots will have a viable future if it goes on like this.

boots NO7 have an offer of spend £15 and get a free boxed gift set and you can use your £5 vouchure as part payment... wonderful

Yes, got one today and used a £5 voucher. Excellent little gift box which contains:- No. 7 lipstick, mascara, vanilla eye cream, lip pencil, 30ml cleanser, 15 ml day cream and 7ml eye gel. (value £30)
Ideal for Christmas presents - and you got another £5 voucher to spend!!! plus I had a 75 points voucher from the machine.
So if you use No. 7 products you really can't go wrong with this combined offer. :D

This simply is not the case, according to our local news they are losing money hand over fist. Shame because they are a big employer in Nottingham - but then any company of their size that cannot get it together with their computer systems and pricing is asking for trouble. I preferred them before they went all fancy with all the extra services.

  • Hi, I have just applied for my advantage card.

    Silly questions:
If I buy at Boots store:
Do I still get 1000 extra points if I buy at the shops instead of doing it on boots.com?

    If I buy online:
Do I still get the 5 pounds skincare voucher?

I would prefer to buy at the store because I need to get the items before Sept 17th (Sat) for my holiday, not sure how long it takes for standard delivery.

    Thanks a lot!
  • u should def get your order before then no probs, u wouldnt get the 1000 points if you shop instore although some offers are both instore and online but online they tend to have a few extra ones(sometimes errors,he he), you would def get a skin care voucher (although expires 13/09),hope that helps

So it is usually better shopping online and I will still get the skin care voucher too, is that right? Thanks a lot!

BTW re the R&M sponges - are you picking up the right ones? The smallest sponges are free when you buy the compact powder so these might be the ones that scan through at 1p with no points. The other ones are £2 each and definately go through automatically wiht 500 points when you buy 2. The powder puffs are £3.50 each and again automatically result in the 500 points.

Can't get the 500 extra points this morning with 2 R&M items. Seems to be working with only one item - think it was the cheek brush at £14.50 each. Tried all different ways but def only 500 for spending £25 on brand names plus extra 500 if you buy two of the cheek brushes. Shame:(

I didn't get the free skincare voucher shopping online. Maybe it's because I used the relevant code to get £5 of skincare purchases on my order, so was using that coupon twice (instore aswell?).

Yes, as long as there is always a code to cover the costs of the £3.50 postage...ie in the form of points or money off. Then you can use the skincare voucher instore (you can only use a skincare voucher once online). If your only spending a tenner its usually better to shop instore to cut postage. Be quick woth yer voucher though as evryone rushes to the store 2days before the end of the offer and snaps up all the low price items.
