I'm feeling quite virtuous :rotfl::rotfl:as I have cleaned my DS's room with his help and changed his bed - it looks fantastic now!
And I have cleaned my room, changed the bed and even moved, with the help of DS, my bed and chest of drawers out to vac and dust behind and I've done the skirting boards too!!
Oops, forgot to look upwards so there may be some cobwebs
DD's room will be done tomorrow when she is home to do the tidying up first
Oooh, I have also glued together some drawer fronts in the spare room - but that now means that DS's clothes are all over spare bed - for how long I wonderChristians Against Poverty - www.capuk.org0 -

The clue's in the colour, sparrer - you have been letting little shoots grow on these, chitting sparrer-style, in readiness for planting.:D
I've had crops from taties like these.
When A was coming for Chrimbo on 22/12, I had to take 2 chairs, many boxes and some bags out to no.2 shed to make it possible for a.n.other person to have freedom of movement.
Much of THAT was from being in France for over 5 months until October.
It's all in the shed still..........
There's a lot from my latest return from France, having taken A back last month, still in front room.
It's what comes of having had v. large space and now not having it.
Project 2009 - clear loft and sheds 1 and 2............don't watch this space.
What a good idea, I'm off to the farm shop tomorrow to get a container to grow them in. I'd plant them out but my wee garden is only 25x18 feet (real money) and the dog likes to investigate everything I put in the ground  .
Beccatje the work tops get done every day cos the cats think it's their space. The bins get done every Tues so no wurries there. What I do have a problem with is sitting down! I had a **** OH many years ago who made me feel guilty if I wasn't doing my Cinderella act and it's never left me. Silly how these things stay in ones mind, but even so, the house will never be a candidate for Ideal home - and I don't think Iwant it to. However, I did get three drawers into two with a view to getting rid of the huge dresser in the dining room so it's a start

there are 7 odd sox on the dining room radiator and I can't remember when I last cleaned the windows (well I have nets so you can't really see the glass), am I 'good' enough to join this thread?
Only 7 odd socks:eek: I have a sock bag full of them, I always say I'm going to buy multiple socks that are the same colour  I am inspired to clean my windows about 4 times a year...valid excuse...I have a jack russell who thinks she's queen of my street so spends her indoor time on the window sill....downside is doggy wetness from her nose/mouth all over the bottom of my window. As for dusting....I ocassionally sweep the room with a disapproving eye. On the plus side I've cooked 3 different dishes made with mince today, 1 to eat tonight, 2 to freeze and a nice portion on hm tomato sauce to freeze and use at a future date. Oh and I've washed the kids clothes for school 1 whole week early because I forgot it was half term this week:D
So am I too disgustingly untidy or too organized (in my dreams) to join this thread?0 -
Got a sock monster here too.
Keep meaning to turn them into lavender bags, or juggling balls or.....If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Me too, re the sock drawer. I have also washed and dried the uniforms. I did remember they are not going to school before I ironed them luckily. lol.
I now only buy black socks for oh navy for me and plain white for dd and white sports socks for ds. this way we only have sort of matching pairs and I know whose drawer to put them in.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Come here, now!
I'm sorry, but you are expelled, permanently excluded, or whatever it's called these days.
I'm astounded that you have the nerve, the brass neck, to boastfully flaunt such doings on this Thread.
