Woohoo, my first day entering this challenge and i got my £1, found 95p at work and got my OH to give me 5p so i didnt have to spend a penny! what do i do now to make it into £2? i have no idea? lol, any tips?
Well done
Personally, when I've got my first pound, I'm going to look around some charity shops and car boots to see if I can get something cheap that I can sell on for a profit. Another good way is to look on Ebay but look for something cheap that is local to you so that you can collect it. That way you might only pay 99p for something that you would have had to add £5 postage for.

I've not managed to get my £1 yet - i never thought it would be this hard to make £1 from nothing.
A friend bought me a CD for Easter instead of chocolate, i may list that on Amazon as I've already uploaded it to itunes & saved all the songs. I'm guessing its okay to list things i didn't pay for?0 -

That sounds like a good idea, I've got a DS game that I got for Christmas which I have completed so may list that to start me off.

Sounds a great challenge which I'd normally be up for, but saving up spending money for my holiday in June so got a very short term target of about £250!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0

We go on holiday in May so im aiming to get this going quickly. Here is the list of my plans so far -
Ive applied for all the freebies i can, including the 3 month free family railticket which i can hopefully sell on ebay, or if anything comes quick enough at the car boot next weekend
Pop on freecycle and see if there is anything to car boot
Have the old tumbledryer in the garage that im gonna pop in the local free ads to see if can get a tenner for (its only years old but doesnt work very well) (oh and it was given to us)
Other half always just throws away his "old"clothes, so im gonna take them to the car boot too (ones that he brought not me)
Of out on saturday eve to celebrate making it through my teaching interview - as its been lots of work and only get one chance a year! so gonne keep an eye out for money lying around at the end of the night!
Other half is out friday night and always drops money when he comes back in...finders keepers...lol
so far, still on £1£2 Savers club £0/£150
1p a day £/0 -

Well I am off to a good start-
I spent my £7.50 Ebay voucher on Body Shop Body Butter and it sold for £8.10 ...I then spent that £8.10 on a DVD from Amazon called Clocking Off and it sold for £16.99 on Ebay.
So after fees I have left: £13.89 ....have to decided what to spend that on now to hopefully double itI'm liking this money for nothing.:TGood luck you lot. x x0 -
