Hooray! I got my first pound.

Got the washing out of the washing machine, and found a lovely wet pound - other half had obviously not emptied his jeans pockets before putting them in - he will never know.....

    23/03 £1
    £2 Savers club £0/£150

Excellent!! My fiance is going to get some petrol before we go out later so when he is paying for it, I will route around under the seats of his car for some loose change!! ;):D

Any ideas what to do with your pound to try and double it? Or of course you could just add a bit more from some other methods.

I spent some time yesterday collecting all the free stuff I have acumulated but I can't really see any of it selling on Ebay just yet, need a few more free samples me thinks.

Didn't find anything in the pub last night or in my fiance's car. Maybe I'll go and walk the streets today in the hope of finding a tenner somewhere ;) .

Or I might just see if there is any carboot stuff going on Freecycle instead.

  • Hi,
i would like to join this too as it looks like fun. I'm aiming to clear a £2000 overdraft and have already started listing things on ebay after reading another challenge thread and have set myself a goal of £1000 over on that thread. I thought I could try this to make the other £1000 although I don't really have a clue where to start, are there any previous threads where I can go and look for ideas? i've applied for a few free samples and will look out for money wherever I go for the small amounts but i admit i'm a bit stumped by how it's possible to make so much for nothing!

Welcome, it is possible with a bit of creative thinking :D .

Here is the thread from my last attempt (which failed miserably due to illness) http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=271716

If I remember rightly, some people did manage it. There are a lot of pages to look through though!!
