All, I just received this very nice reply to my email: I trust this clarifies to everyone:


Hi Andy,
Thanks for making us aware of the discussions going on. Our team running the project have been blown away by the initial response and to be honest, we did not have the systems in place to deal with its popularity, which was partly due to you and your fellow forum members. Thank you.
Where we now is that we are migrating the site on to a new server and have had programmers developing the back-end program that checks for copied responses, approves comments and get people paid efficiently and on time for their hard work.
Our old hosting company had issues with sending automatic approval messages to all the writers, but this should be fixed with the new hosting company.
The site should be back live in our new environment in about 72 hours, as soon as the site propagates over. But we will endeavor to keep everyone posted should that change.

As for all the existing Writers missing the payments, please understand that everything you have every written is safely stored and not lost. We will honor every payment due and will do so as soon as we have the site back up and running.
May I take the time to once again thank everyone for their support in making WriterShare so popular.

i have a question but im not really sure how to ask it, so that you understand.

You have said that all our comments have been saved and all payments will be honoured? correct?
Is this only the comments that we have recieved acceptance emails (last friday)?
Because im fairly sure that all the acceptance emails sent so far were only for comments people had posted last thursaday or later.
Will we recieve rejection emails, so that we know our comments have been processed?

I hope thats clear, if not i will try explaining diferently.

Oh, actually I have a silly question - for some of my comments I was using a different e-mail address to normal but that e-mail address isn't available at the moment - therefore, if I get any acceptance e-mails they are likely to be returned to you - does this mean I wont get paid?

As for your comments the rule is this:
You will get a email to tell you either the comment has accepted or rejected.

If you haven't got a email, its because it's still waiting to be approved.

However, we had to change servers because our old hosting company kept having trouble sending out the accepted/rejected emails which is why our site is down right now.

We should be back on a new server very soon and can start approving comments again.

As for payment, writers will only get paid once a comment has been approved. So if you haven't got a approval/rejection email, please sit tight. You will get the approval / rejection emails as soon as we are back.
