I think it's too much work for too little money. I bet they are making good money from it all and paying only £1 a comment.

Last month, I made £85 from selling letters, tips and jokes to magazines and newspapers. Most of these paid £25 each and I only had to write about 50 words for each one. Why waste your time and effort for £1.

Because you could easily make a good £50 a week on this site, as it doesn't require people have the knack to write - just a bit of common sense or knowledge on a subject.

Assuming the site comes back up I can easily write 10 comments a day, which will take about an hour, and will cost me no outlay (petrol, stamps, paper etc). Plus we're paid weekly. So at £50 a week, that's £200 a month.

Suddenly your £85 "selling" tips and wotnot doesn't seem so lucrative to me.

So how about not knocking it til you've tried it, eh?
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.

Yes but you won't get that every month. Sometimes they won't accept what you send because others have sent something better. They also don't like the same people appearing week after week or month after month so they soon stop paying you.

You have a constant fight to find new magazines etc and the more you write the more you get rejected. Look at any magazine, you never see the same letter writers in week after week.

I wasn't knocking it I was only saying what's in it for them. If they are paying you £1 a time what are they getting paid for your work? If you can make £50 a week, £200 a month, that's great. But, not everyone will make that kind of money.
  • No-ones making any money at the minute with it all going a bit wonky
