He he, tell you what toxic, as a mother of 3, I would only laugh if your faux expertise got accepted and my expertise got rejected! shows writing is all about the blag! Pretty sure you can comment around a subject a couple of times and I might try it.
I think the idea of not leaving enough for other MSErs, whilst a joke, maybe reveals a kind of poverty consciousness. There's more than enough to go round. we are stronger together. Maybe check out the Law of Attraction, or The Secret, Malteser?Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

Generally writer's for magazine in wide uk circulation (ie you can buy it at wh smiths) ect are paid upwards of a pound per word. If you have found that you are getting all of your comments accepted, quickly, u might have a talent for writing. If so, try writing an un-commisionsed article, about a topic about which, you know something - and sending it off to your fav mag. The
writing should match the house style, and fit into an article sized space, in
whichever mag you choose. The writing must be double spaced like this, with
the number of words, the title and your name at the top. On paper, in an envelope.
Cover letter should be addressed to the editor and say that you are offering first rights, that the article is uncommisioned, and suggesting which part of the mag you think it is right for. Also Put down all your details, and a mobile number.
If they are intrested they will ring you. If they arent they won't. Wait for about 4 weeks, and send it somewhere else. Don't ring them up chasing as they won't have a clue who who are unless they've rung you first.
Don't send the same article to more than one mag, without waiting for a month to see if they bite.
Newspapaer rarely publish uncommsioned stuff, but you never know. The more specialist and small circulation the mag, the more likely you are to get published, but the less they pay, howver they all pay more than 0.66p per word.0 -

hear, hear, but I'm gonna take up good Mr Ian's advice re magazine submission. Got a few published a few years ago but probably it's time to try again, I've been meaning to for so long and I like the method he suggests. Thanks Mr Ian:TGala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

I was doing some thinking about this site and well they must be doing something with the stuff we write that makes them money (more than we get). So i've been wandering the net trying to find out where they might be using the comments we submit, my thoughts being if you find where they are using them maybe you can make more by going direct (if you know what I mean).
I haven't figured it out yet, but have found this its a link which at the bottom has 5 places to write comments/reviews/thoughts etc on topics. http://www.zses.com/getpaidtowritearticles.html
Now I don't know if any of these are where the comments are ending up. However those interested in writing there comments for things might still like to look at the sites listed in the link.
Hope this helps.0 -
Oh as I have no idea if by joining through that web page it earns anyone money (certainly not me) if it gets removed the 5 places listed are Associated content, squidoo, helium, epinions, and eHow. Your have to google them for the actual web address.0
