Some people have said they do, others have said they don't.
My personal theory is they pay via credit card, so if you have a premier paypal account you get charged a fee. If you have a personal papal account you don't get charged the fee, as long as you are below some paypal limit for accepting payments via credit card.
My other theory is they pay us before they have been paid from whoever they sell our comments to. This means they pay some of us using funds they have in their paypal account, but may have to use a credit card to pay others. This may explain why some get charged a fee and others don't.0 -

I was doing some thinking about this site and well they must be doing something with the stuff we write that makes them money (more than we get). So i've been wandering the net trying to find out where they might be using the comments we submit, my thoughts being if you find where they are using them maybe you can make more by going direct (if you know what I mean).
I haven't figured it out yet, but have found this its a link which at the bottom has 5 places to write comments/reviews/thoughts etc on topics. http://www.zses.com/getpaidtowritearticles.html
Now I don't know if any of these are where the comments are ending up. However those interested in writing there comments for things might still like to look at the sites listed in the link.
Hope this helps.
Looks like they are putting a load of unique content together, and will start to (or are already) selling to websites that are lacking. Much more cheaply than the websites are able to get it for themselves.
So say a website that specialises in finance needs articles on bankruptcy, the editors patch together the content, and ask for more. Getting much better output, at considerably less cost and in a much shorter time, than they would have to pay a journalist to do the same job.
If you've read some financial 'advice' sites content, a lot of it is pretty well... foolish
So you might never read your 'article', as the best bits would be used with other peoples, to make a much longer article. And maybe the good writers will start be commisioned to write longer pieces, when they are after something mores specific.0 -
