  • I've not kept up with this thread for a while so obviously I've missed something. Is writershare back up and running?

I just popped over to see if there were any more postings on WS and see that indeed there are! Whatever happened to the email notification I've selected for this thread, hmm?

Anyway, I see that WS are using writers from prior to the 'meltdown' and selected only those who had written comments and had them accepted. I just checked and I wrote 20 articles and had them all accepted.

    Feel quite neglected now! :o

Poor Lou :p This might clarify things, from an earlier post-

The 30 writers we chose were those with the highest number of accepted comments.
  • Yes, in response to you Lou, that is a farly high number so maybe if it's opened up bit by bit you might be in the next intake of writers?
Then again I don't know whether it will be opened up bit by bit or whether it will just be open to all on the net, so it's only speculation. Hope you get to do some anyway.:D

If it helps, I had written and had accepted 31 before the site went down.
  • I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your very positive comments.

Just to keep everyone up to date with our plans: For the moment the group of writers will not be expanded as there has been a limited number of topics. If we get to the point where we have more comments than our current group of writers feel they can handle then the we will include more writers, but obviously as soon as the new site is launched then everyone will be included.

If anyone still has concerns or queries about W:S please let me know and i'll do my best to lay them to rest.

As a writer who is signed up and been paid by you, I'm wondering if there's any update yet?

I only just found out about WS today and am gutted that it's closed, seemingly for the foreseeable future as it's been on hiatus since Septermber 2008? Hopefully it won't be too long before it's back up and running and they'll accept some new members for new opinions because I love writing and would really enjoy being part of the site! :)

How often can you write stuff, and what subjects do they want?
