Sorry, I have not had a chance to post or read back for ages, but I got a £1 payment a few days ago. This was apparently not for the 3 that have been approved or the 8 that are still awaiting moderation...

it says on the site that 80% of comments are accepted.

It said that on 20 March when malteaser1988 started this thread. It should be clear to everyone in here that at that time they were not expecting, or prepared for the response they got.

They may have approved, or were expecting to approve 80% of comments at that time, but they had no idea what was coming!

Andy597 I think they will have to take a loan out to pay you. It does almost appear like they could have cash flow problems, but you would imagine that the company behind them would not have cash problems. Perhaps they have only been alocatted a limited budget?

If that is true then the rejection rate may go up dramatically.

Suppose they have a budget to pay for 1,000 comments per day, and they get 10,000 comments per day. 90% of them will have to be rejected.

I know there are a few people in here that are waiting for the topics to come back, and there could be lots more who only read this forum also waiting. But this forum is still small compared to facebook, there could be 10,000's of facebook users waiting for the topics to come back.

Not to mention all the other forums and social networking sites it may have spread to.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the WS office when they open up again.

I haven't been paid yet, but I do have 8 emails saying I will be paid today.
  • I recieved 6 more acceptance e-mails the same day as I was paid but haven't recieved any more since. I still have 13 awaiting moderation.

Surely this doesn't look god for anyone hoping for Writers:Share to be back with topics on Monday, if they don't get their backlog out of the way today then I cannot see how they will put more topics up on Monday.

Things going down hill again slightly with 3 days of nothingness, who know though ... we may all get nice surprises today! :)
