Not a very successful part the way things are going! I'm now deeply unimpressed at the lack of updates, failure to pay, and delays in sorting out the website.

The company behind Writers:Share is involved in ecommerce, Writers:Share is just one part of its operation.

Actually I think that should be

The company behind Writers:Share has a web site that claims to be involved in ecommerce. But if you try to contact them regarding any part of their activities they don't reply.

Any daft b*gger can build a web site claim to have done work for well known companies. Then make sure the logos they have nicked don't actually lead to the sites.

Any daft b*gger can claim to build web sites, but when their own web sites don't work you have to wonder.

You also have to wonder about a company that claims to be good at building web sites but on their own site the contact us page does not work.

There seems to be a pattern developing here - when pressed, they give us enough information to mollify us for a while, then go silent again.

Geordie Joe you could be right, as yet I haven't done much research into who they are or who all works for them but I suppose it is possible to research it. I am inclined to think that it just got bigger than they expected or initially planned for. I also feel that they are fobbing us off with little snippets now and again, but I suppose only time will tell. It is the weekend again and I think we should accept we won't hear anything until Monday at the earliest.

elliemoo, I've said it before in here, more than once, I don't think they are dishonest just a victim of their own success. They were not ready for the response they got from users of this forum.

However, reading the skills this company claims to have, I can't see how it's taking them this long to sort things out. It should be easy to do for a company with their skills and experience. After all, it's as easy to write an automatic system for 10 users as it is for one with 10,000 users. Why didn't they have it automatic when they started.

I also question why a company that has been around for 10 years is using a shared host that can't cope with a few acceptance emails?

I still don't think they are dishonest, but I do think they are not as good as they claim to be.

    Hi everyone,

Do you think it is worth me now registering to become a member of this site so I am ready and prepared when or rather if (!) the new topics start appearing (hopefully by the thousand:D ).

I've been looking at this thread and the WS website for a while and it looks like it finally might be sorting itself out. I think a few people on here are starting to lose faith in them by the sounds of it though!

You don't need to register, in fact you can't register. All you can do is give them your email address so they can send you an email when new topics are posted.

What makes you think it finally might be sorting it's self out? I've been with this since the beginning and I don't think anything has happened for a month.

I do not feel it is any nearer being sorted out than it was on 2 May when I made my last comments.

geordie joe - i would have to agree with you. I have been waiting for some kind of response from WS for about 6 weeks since my last lot of comments were approved. Still nothing. Starting to get so frustrated with them. But the one consolation is that I know I am not the only one in this boat. Although, if they don't sort themselves out soon, I may just be the rat that leaves the sinking ship!

There was some e-mail from WS technical team yesterday on this thread that another poster highlighted. OK, it didn't say that the site and payments would be shortly forthcoming but at least they have replied to someone (finally!).

Just hopes it sorts itself out as it sounds like a good idea and I hope, like the rest of you, to be earning from them on a regular basis. :D
