Writers:Share - Get paid to leave comments!

Hello everyone.

After realising I may be waiting for Writers:Share to be back up and running for a while I have turned my attentions to attempt to earn money online through other means.

I have realised that sites such as 'Sponsored Review' pay decent money for reviwing products on your blog and so forth and placing links.

Alot of these places need your blog to be of a good standard and to be open for at least 30 days.

I know alot of the posters on this thread have vast amounts about this sort of thing and I would appreciate it if you could perhaps look at my blog and give me your personal impression. I have only created it today but I want to make sure it has the possibility to draw some attention.

If anyone has any ideas for improvements then i would love to hear them.

Only just one word of caution before you write to much, I beleve the free version of wordpress is a little no go, to advertisments, such as google adsence etc... If you move it to blogger.com then you will be allowed to use those advertisements, on their free site. This may have changed since I used wordpress a long time ago, but maybe worth looking at so you can settle into a new home and create your blog with ease Also, don't forget if you like writing articles and know of many good links, Xomba is another good place to get used to it all. It's been a long time since I wrote my own blog but something I'm thinking about doing again. Good luck!

A big thankyou to everyone who has visited my blog. Any posts being left would be a big bonus to me.
I will look into eblogger as I have had one their before but I found the interface to be not so pretty but with a good html code editor.

All hands on deck with Writers:Share. I really hope we hear some more news today as this is becoming even more draged out and unfortunately, many are losing their patience and I cna understand why.
I can sympathize with the facc they are having technical issues but surely someone can still be reading through the comments, accepting or rejecting them. We still have no payment for comments that we wrote nearly a month ago.

I know how you feel Andy. I wrote comments in April, got them approved and was supposed to get paid for them 6 weeks ago. Can't get through to them at all! Have written on their facebook page, sent emails (all returned) and have almost lost my patience with them.

ps I've added your blog to my favourites so I can go back and have a proper read when the kids are in bed!

I have tried the same, facbook, telephone, direct e-mails and still no contact. A few of oure more established members have recieved e-mails from WS asking if they can pass on information yet WS havn't actually given any information to pass on!

PS. Thankyou There is only 5 or 6 posts at the moment but hopefully I will be adding one or two daily.

At this point, aren't they getting to the point of almost fraud? I don't know the legalities of that. Contemplating reporting them to Which/Watchdog - I'm sure there's lots of other folks who don't post here also waiting...

I don't know anything about law or contracts but they have clearly advertised that they will pay for comments and they definitely have not fulfilled this promise. I think it might be time to look to other means of getting things resolved, but wouldn't be sure how to take this forward.

The technical team has been working hard not only getting it back up and running but to a great standard and we are pretty certain that this will all be finished and tested in a the very near future. Currently it looks like we will be back with new topics in about a weeks time. We will of course make sure that all writers has been payed and that the payment functions will keep working before we accept any more comments.

would you be able to suggest to them that in the future they post updates either on their website or the facebook page? because not hearing from them for 3 weeks is a bit too much.
