I've moved this thread to this board because it is apparent that the offer is closed for the general public.
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

I don't often comment on threads like this. If people apply for 'freebies' that don't turn up (believe me, it is more common than freebies that do arrive). More fool you for falling for it.
This was a genuine offer for people that received an email from the company. The company didn't plan on this offer to be posted on boards like this. When they realised, they sent an apology email to people that didn't qualify for the offer.
This is far more than soooo many of the (non turning up) freebie companies have done. Why are people moaning about this one? I don't get it!!!
So many times (just about every day), I see an obvious 'data farming' freebie posted on the board (a company that has no intention of posting out any freebie), and just wants peoples personal information............this includes email address, phone no, address, age, sex, etc...........all things that many members don't mind giving away for nothing, and just about every day, I see a long list of people that post 'thanks, just signed up'. Like I said, more fool you.
I really don't see any reason for complaint in this instance. The company ran a targeted campaign. It's not worth moaning because you were not part of their original target audience. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

your new to the forum, youve been here 5 minutes, my age has nothing to do with you, and your idea on why i use that number is wrong.
As this is an open forum you will get people that have different opinions, should you find that hard to accept, maybe you should press that little cross in the corner.
I think you might be a bully Butler1982, remember this response to one of your posts in February:

It is people like you that put newbies off posting offers and freebies, and therefore causing the rest of us to miss out on a good deal.0 -

Surely if people have personal emails to do a survey or receive an offer it should not be posted on here in the first place. I received the email to do the survey for the £10.00 of goods for 3M and I have missed out on this now because the op posted a personal email on here which was not for everyone, you cannot blame the company for not sending to people who were not invited in the first place, I also missed out on the Thornton egg as this was another personal email I received and could not use as they had all gone and also the Woolworths mini egg I received an email and my Woolworths had sold out due to people using an email they had not received and some printing multiple coupons, if you were not invited by personal email anyway why complain about not getting something, I have missed out on 3 offers due to greed by some people especially with the mini eggs and people saying how many they had managed to get, people were boasting about getting say 5 packets this then meant that they had 4 more than they should resulting in 4 people getting nothing, so people who had not received an email where taking something of the people who were actually entitled to it.0 -

Am a bit scared to post on here now due to the singling out and bullying going on. Just so you all know, I complained to see what the power of complaining in this situation can do, it may have worked for me but not for others so you win some, you lose some. There are many things I have applied for and never got.

I got a lovely pack of Post-It goodies - a fridge magnet pack, a spotty pack, a colourful cube pack and a lovely notebook and pen with two sizes of notes inside. However, I did respond to the original email.
They wanted opinions of existing customers, not every freebie hunter on the internet who will say what they want to hear in order to get something for nothing.0 -

Thank you Cheapscate I appreciate your support and yes it does make you think twice about posting again. I seem to have been thanked more times than slated so I must be doing something right. Yes I am new but when I post something Its because I genuinely feel that it may help others. As for finding the cross button if I dont like others opinion I will not give this bully the satisfaction. Thanks again0 -
I did do this survery. But as someone said, you win some and you lose some. Could someone please tell me how i can contact them via email? thank you0
