What you need to realise is that sometimes you win on post that are on here and sometimes you dont.
Move on and look for something else.
I agree you have to let things go but there is no reason to be so rude.0 -
There is no need to be so rude Butlers1982 im guessing 1982 is the year of your birth as you are showing your immaturity. People were stating on other posts that they had not received the offer after completing the survey in good faith so I thought I would enquiry to 3m in order to find out a useful answer.
By posting their response it will let others know not to waste their precious time looking or completing the survey
Im sorry those actions upset you so much.
I don't think it was your actions, but perhaps your perceived attitude that may be the issue?
There seems to be a split on this part of the board between those who are happy to get free things from time to time and see it as a bonus, and those who come across as though they deserve to be given free things and it is their right to get them regardless.
The response from 3M was, in my eyes, perfectly fair and explained the situation. Perhaps your annoyance should be directed at whomever posted the original link when it was only intended for customers specifically targeted by the company?
There are plenty of examples of the generosity of companies being abused and as the previous poster says, in the wrong way perhaps, you win some and you lose some.ALL DEBT NOW PAID OFF IN FULL 3 YEARS EARLY!Lightbulb Moment Dec 2008 - DFD Nov 2016!

Fair comment right-track perhaps I should lower my expectations a little. I am open to a difference of opinion but just felt the "pathetic" posting was a little extreme when the link did seem to help some people. Thanks for your views.0 -

I agree, there's no need to call someone pathetic, it does nothing but cause an argument and detract from the thread discussion.ALL DEBT NOW PAID OFF IN FULL 3 YEARS EARLY!Lightbulb Moment Dec 2008 - DFD Nov 2016!

Sort of on topic and sort of off topic....
I think sometimes we forget, myself included, in our rush to get free things that occasionally the companies are genuinely looking for specific data and feedback for marketing purposes rather than just to get as many email addresses, mobile numbers etc.
Of course I'm sure there are plenty of companies who just want all of our details before they take over the world.... *cough* Tesco *cough*ALL DEBT NOW PAID OFF IN FULL 3 YEARS EARLY!Lightbulb Moment Dec 2008 - DFD Nov 2016!

Im all for the OP, i wasnt happy with the response either when i emailed to complain, wont be buying anything from them again if i can help it! :-)0
-
I complained yesterday and they sent me a rather nice email saying that they were very sorry and that they would infact be able to send me the freebies as I had a valid complaint. Maybe what you are offered depends on who the email gets through to?
Will keep you all posted on what happens.
what did you email them saying as i got nothing, just a 10% discount which i definatly wont be using!0 -
I got mine yesterday! And theyre fab! Theres hope yet! I got 4 different products, a mini-block in 4 colours, some "designed" post its, general yellow ones (long size) and a portable post-it, post its in a hardback notebook with little pen.
Don't give up yet!
I got mine today and yes they are fab!:T0 -
You win some, you lose some.......what is annoying is that they left this survey open for so long after it would be pretty obvious it was being deluged with entries.0

so its ok for you to use the word pathetic heskpesk, but you cant handle others using it about you.
your new to the forum, youve been here 5 minutes, my age has nothing to do with you, and your idea on why i use that number is wrong.
As this is an open forum you will get people that have different opinions, should you find that hard to accept, maybe you should press that little cross in the corner.0
