the addition is the £20 for the CRB or thats what i thought. fair enough on not taking tax (if it is too low to tax) but surely the NI still has to be paid?? very odd.

i wouldnt mind but i still havent been able to send off for my crb yet. its proving to be a complete pain. first i had to request a paper application as i have only lived in this house since feb. got that yesterday and in addition to my passport and driving licence no they also want my electricity suppliers S number. phone disclosure up and explained that i hadnt had a quarterly electric bill yet but they insist i must include it. so called EON and they said to wait for my bill. Turning out to be a bit of a nightmare lol.

could the EON not have given you the number over the phone or do you not have anything from when you were getting your electricity connected in your new house?? Would disclosures not accept bank statements perhaps? I am trying to think of all the documents they requested on their website - I guess I was lucky, I was able to complete mine online and only needed to include either passport number or driving licence number and national insurance number (i gave all three just to make sure lol)

I don't think NI is taken if under a certain amount - same as tax - I only assumed it was CRB as that was £20

Yeah thats the one mate, Do you know if I could be contacted by the team on a mobile, the reason I ask this is because I would get a phoneline in if I new initial contact was made to a mobile, and if tests passed and taken on I would obviously invest in a land line.

Sorry to pressume that you may work for them, or that you deal with enquiries.

Hi, I have only started my training with Teletech. Not sure about the mobile but you definately need a landline. And for the technical tests etc you need a computer ideally connected by ethernet cable to not only do the tests but to pass them as well. Basically, the job entails taking inbound calls (hence the landline) and working on your computer. The website will give you all details of what you need for the job, in fact I think these have been copied into this forum a few pages back.
