One more question . If you have more than onr phone socket do you always have to use the one where the dialer is?

I better say this quietly then but in fact I don't actually have one myself so I don't know but I am sure one of our regular posters who does have one will be able to answer your question soon0

You need a dialler for each socket a phone is plugged in but you can plug two phones into one dialler.0

I have 3 digital cordless telephones, and I use 1 V4 dialler, as only the main telephone needs to be plugged in to the BT or NTL telephone socket
Also, if you only intend using 18866 as your cheap call provider, you could even opt for the cheaper V2 dialler & with 20% off, this comes as a great cheap product which just plugs in and goes without having to programme anything :T0 -
Same with me I have two cordless phones and I have paired both handsets with one base unit so I only need one dialler.0
