Use mine most the time, dont carry cash very often.
Also have the airmiles cards so clock up lots of miles.
Clear the card each month so no need to worry about interest

I'm the same - credit card for as much as possible (for the cashback). Though I'm too embarrassed to use it for spends of less than about 10 pounds.....

As with most of the above people, I pay off in full every month, and don't use it to pay for what I can't afford. Credit cards can be your friend if used properly.

I am yet another who spends much less on cards than if I have the cash.

I pay with my cc for absolutely everything I can. And the cash remains in my current account for longer (which pays about 5%).

I got about £50 this year in extra current account interest and cashback on my credit card just for doing normal purchases.

i wish i was trustworthy of myself to do that

i used to spend on my cc and not pay off the extra but now any spends on my cc i pay it back straight away or add the extra spend to the amount to what i normally pay back. i pay back alot more than my min payment
would love to be a home owner. hate private renting
scared of debt. almost debt free.

I don't really use the CC for day to day things unless I'm totally skint (yeah, I know, I'm reining in my spending I swear...)

Thing is I do most of my spending at Waitrose anyway, where I work, and I can't claim employee discount when paying on credit. I can see how cards could be a useful budgeting tool. When I've paid them all off and my new 0% card comes through, I'm hopefully going to be able to use the card for making large purchases and paying them off over a year interest free, as God intended. ;)

I put absolutely everything on the CC, on 0% on purchases for a year from HSBC, so money is locked away in savings account earninng me interest :j have very little cash in my wallet, but occassinally do use it, (50p for a pot of single cream today)
often i offer to pay for my parents shopping as well, and i plonk the cash into my savings.

Cash for small amounts, but otherwise a cashback credit card & pay it off by DD every month.

If you apply for a john lewis partnership card you can still get your discount! ;)

I use a cashback credit card for all my spending and pay it off in full each month (for all the reasons everybody else has said!) :) I rarely carry cash any more as it means I end up spending it!!
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!
