I find that if I need to buy a loaf of bread and some milk for example, if I go to the cashpoint I have to take out a minimum of a tennor but I only needed £3 - £4. Cards are handy for only spending on what you need. I find that if you have change in your pocket you spend it!0

Only if you let them, it is called budgeting, only buying what is necessary and being aware of your finances, what is the difference between using a card or drawing cash from a machine whenever you need to make a purchase.
I pay everything with a card, BUT always pay off the full amount each month, also get an annual cash back from the card company, money stays in my account earning interest, so it pays to use my card.
WHich cashback card? Still trying to decide. Ta.Tough times never last longer than tough people.0 -
I use a credit card for everything except very small purchases. I spend the same amount whether I use cash or a card, so that's not an issue, but I find a card much more convenient. And I always pay it off in full each month.0
