Easyjet Speedy Boarding - Worth It?

I hate waiting to board planes. I hate the way that when one person stands up to move towards the gate, everybody else stands up and then there is this horrible feeling of panic. I mean really, what is the panic?! It's not like there isn't going to be room on the bloody plane for everyone?!
Easyjet need to train their staff to deal with this in a more calm manner. Either that or equip them with cattle prods...

The problem started when the departure gate was changed at the last moment, meaning all customers had to move to the new gate. No announcement was made for SB customers, therefore we had to apologise ourselves to customers that we had paid SB. We were transported onto two buses, all other customers followed after us. We were bused to the plane and left standing on the bus for 15 minutes because the crew were not ready. As we were first on the bus it meant we were last off the bus and therefore last on the plane.
The crew on board were good and managed to move other customers so that my son was sat in the middle of the plane... because he is young he prefers to be over the wing.
I have travelled on SB from Malaga. We were put on buses there and yet they had a separate roped off area for SB customers which worked very well.
I would also add that the system to contact Easyjet to complain is not an easy one... it took me an hour to work out the system and send my message. I am waiting to see what their response will be!!!0 -
I have since had a response from Easyjet... wait for it!!
Whilst they understand my frustration, they service is cheaper for this airport because of the bus service (therefore you have wasted £11... or £19 if booked at airport). They are also a non-refundable company.
Don't make my mistake... do research about specific airports before booking speedy boarding!0
