Chinese Phone - No Predictive Text Messaging

You might be able to flash it with a UK set of settings/dictionaries and maybe a predictive text function, you never know, but I wouldn't count on it!

I have to ask, what makes this phone from china any better than the range available here? apart from the predictive text thing, what features are better? etc.
First off it only cost £50! What can you can for a brand new unlocked phone for £50 in this country? Not much.
OK it has great security. You can set it up so that the phone will only unlock the keypad if you swipe your pre-programmed fingerprint over the panel. It has a 2.4" LCD touchscreen. Dual Sim Card Holder so no need for two phones if you have 2 sim cards. It has a camera with a lens on the front and back. It can record phone calls. And a battery that lasts 460 hours in standby. If only it had predictive text....i send so many messages I need it!

I wonder if any downloadable java apps are available for your phone to do predictive text, that might be the way to go.0

You're right about the cost being low, i've just seen one on a site (all in Japanese unfortunately) and the price is 2150 Yen, about £10. I know a couple of people who hate predictive text so I may try and find a site I can understand to show them as the phone sounds great otherwise.
Edit: Confused actually, the text on the site is chinese but the currency symbol is Japanese YenBought, not Brought0
