I just bought a breadmaker:D Have been wanting one for ages but didnt want to spend £100, Mr T's have a reduced one for £25;) Its an own brand one, but it mentions Panasonic in the description, so kinda hoping they made it:o

    http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.203-4857.aspx

This is it, please tell me i havent just wasted my money! Interestingly enough, reading the blurb on this and then the one on the panny, they read almost exactly the same. Or is that wishful thinking...

I saw that online so went into my local Tesco to take a look - it's definitely NOT a panasonic in any way shape or form!!

Phoned HO and they agreed that the wrong 'blurb' is on the website and that they would change it but as this was 2 weeks ago now I don't think they're that bothered!

I wonder if there would be any recourse to the Sale of Goods Act as they have basically mis-sold the breadmaker implying it is the same as a Panasonic. Presumably if it is a load of rubbish you could claim the money back on this basis. Mind you I'm not a lawyer but it might be worth looking into if you have to.

Bum.....bin collection was Saturday.....I didn't see or hear the wagon....bum....so that means a tip run or 2 this week...so much for letting us know, never received any details of changes etc.

If it was not a normal collection day and you had no notice then surely they are duty bound to come and empty your bin. Try speaking to the manager and get them to come back out for your bin and the other neighbours. Mention that several of you didn't know.

Right, just vacuum the stairs before I set off for DS. Managed to clear all the ironing, so I'm just going to put it away.
Bread dough is rising again now (although the handprints are still slightly visible:rotfl:)

Found the vegetable rack outside (it's on wheels and LO likes to push it around all over the house)

I can't force myself to go upstairs and bring the vacuum down.. so.. I'm having a cuppa.. and then I'll drag Tiddles out of bed.. go collect the monsters.. THEN I'll make them vacuum.. they usually end up arguing over who is going to do it.. One can do the front room.. one can do the sofas.. one can do the hallway and another can do the stairs!!!

Tiddles has painted her coat today too so I need to wash that when we get home.

GnB - I have a Tesco own brand one - bought for £25 about five years ago. Can't complain for £25 tbh, although I mostly use it for dough making.

Bit upset, DS2 has been playing with my old digital camera. I had to admire his pictures and am was ready to cry. I hadn't realised quite how big my bum is, or indeed how old my hands look - I am only 35! Been out shopping for some running trainers and some jog pants. Used to be good at long distance when I was at school but never done any since - any suggestions/recommended links for a slow start? I want to lose a stone by JillD's birthday! Will have a weigh in tonight.

I am determined to do level three on Pigpen's list every day this week plus HHE and HHG daily. HHG is done, but not touched the rest yet.

Going to put my new trainers on in a minute, chuck DS2 in his pushchair/bike and run the long way to school to collect number 1 son, then back to clean LR. Please send a a search party if I am not back for 3.30pm.....
