PCW seem to have sold out on the website, but as it is £5 dearer instore, you dont get anything from cashback sites, but you do get an extra 50p off for the pricematch.
Got one for £27.83, after using a mail-in Post-it £5 voucher from last years sale.so with £20 cashback = £7.83.
.
Yes they could not work out the 10% extra, even using a calculator.;)ac's lovechild0 -

it cost £39.99. I then asked pc world to price match amazon which they did . PC world give 110% of the price difference .
That brought the price down to £11.52 .
PC world will price match up to 7 days after you buy ,and they deliver for free .
I don't understand how you git them to price match when it was a cashback deal. Ive just called pc world and they said they would only do the pricematch with the price on screen not including cashback.0 -
I guess he ordered from the website via the referral link from the cash-back site, using free home delivery. Then rang them to get the price-match, on the number they provide for if you find it cheaper in the next 7 days. However the website price was £44.99 so 5% should = £2.25, dont know where the £39.99 came from?ac's lovechild0

Thanks for this one.
I have got 1 to pick up from PC World in Inverness tomorrow, at that price I can afford the petrol for the 100 mile round trip!
I will let you know if I have any problems with price matching or not.0 -
H Again
I e-mailed PC World to get confirmation about price matching against Amazon,
I had hoped to be picking a printer up from them tomorrow, but I guess I will now have to wait a few days until Amazon deliver!
Here is what they said about price matching.
"Although we do match against Amazon, this is only matched for home delivery purchases as Amazon dont have stores therefore the price match would not be 'like for like"0 -
I got one from my local store last week i just took a printout of amazons page. They price matched without question thats 3 times iv'e had a pcworld pricematch with amazon.Ring the manager and ask him at your nearest store.0

Mine arrived from Amazon...they sent - and charged for two! DD needed one though so as long as I get two cashbacks I'm not too bothered. I already have a tiny Pixma I use when travelling so I'm surprised at just how big this one is!0

I think PC world are using the fact that cannon will give £20 back as an excuse to up the price .
Edit Today I received a cheque from PC world for £6.13.So it worked out as follows £39.99 paid
-£2.00 from topcashback
-£6.13 rebate from pc world
-£20.00 from cannon
£11.86 after cashback0 -
Already posted (twice).;)
Can be got cheaper from PCWorld using their 110% of difference Price-match with Amazon + Quidco.
