I understand the quoted price for the headset will be vastly inflated to make you think it is valuable - that's why I pointed out that it's not worth what they claim. And true, it's less illegal to use it while driving than the hand-held phone, but it still makes you four times more likely to crash than if you weren't talking on a mobile :O)

regardless of what it looks like when your wearing the headset, or how much it costs, its the fact that its meant to be free with my phone, which, i want it ,as i should have had it free with my phone anyway. i want something thats mine ;)
ill see later about getting the screen shot up

Still, I wouldn't mind a copy of that screenshot too.

I just got an email from O2 saying they've now shipped my K700i.
I suspect it won't have the Bluetooth Headset with it either.

    Cheers !

I see that the refurbished K700i has now gone up to £89.99.

I am sure that it might have been clear on the offer page that a Bluetooth headset was included, but was it listed on the order when you went to the payment page? I have noticed with several of the phone sites that they list free accessories with some phones, but when you click to buy them then the accessories seem to mysteriously disappear! Of course that's no excuse for not supplying what was on offer, but it might explain why the headset was not sent.
  • Does this phone come locked to O2, or is it unlocked? I know it has O2 branding, but often O2 doesn't lock it to any network. Only somebody who has ordered this refurbished model to reply please, just pop in a sim card from Orange or another network and let me know if it works.

    thanks

Just put my Orange sim card in my new refurb K700i and it works fine !

The phone is minted and looks brand new. The only evidence is that the camera lens is dusty and dirty but i'll try and clean it later.

Also the only function on the phone that doesn't work is the Radio as it says it needs a headset to use as an aerial. But i'm not fussed about that.

Still, please can you post up the screenshot so i can compain about not getting a Bluetooth headset with mine either .

    Cheers !

As I understand it, all contract phones are unlocked and all PayG ones are locked.
