  • Well done for deciding to sell your shoes on ebay, this must've been hard for you judging by the amount of women at my office who insist that 70 pairs of shoes is good for the soul - pun intended

Well, I did buy the damn things and never wear 'em! I bought them via a catalogue and when I actually got them they had 3 inch heals which is about an inch higher than i can safely walk in! :rotfl:

Sent off my Barclaycard fee reclaim letter today, :j only a full month procrastinating! :)

Had a bit of a bad day today, have just felt really anxious about this whole debt thing!! I need to have £800 by next April, for the mortgage. But have nothing, because i spent what i had been saving because I was getting fines etc. Anyway, i had thought i would get a small loan. Then realised that applying for credit that close to renewing the mortgage will show up on the credit report and possibly make it harder for us to get a better deal, if a better deal can be found! So then I was thinking, if i absolutely scrimped and saved could i have all, or most of that £800 by April? And i probably could, but it would be HARD. And i won't be able to make any overpayments on the credit cards like I want to but least I won't be getting myself £800 further in debt.

Why is it sooo HARD?

OMG! Just did the 'Minimum Payments- What's the damage calculator'. According to this it would take 21 years and 9 months and cost me £2597 in interest. Which is almost as much is what is on the card!!! MUST MUST MUST find a way to overpay! :)

Right, have listed my shoes on Ebay, and also put on a couple of exercise DVDs which I have looked at, but not actually used, and have considered selling some Swarovski crystal animals I have, but they were gift for my 21st birthday and it just seems wrong, even though I need the money. What to do?

I have also got a ring i could sell but again, it's one of those, it seems wrong... I guess I really will have to see how bad things get!

Have managed to keep myself out of mischief today as I have a holiday today! Watched TV, and tried to relax. Still feeling quite tense though, and it's constantly on my mind! Especially scraping together this £800 for April.

Making a chocolate trifle to cheer myself up! :)

I did download free ani-virus sofware today though :j

My norton360 subscriptionran out on tuesday and i was wondering what to do about new anti virus stuff and then there it was in Martin's money saving Email:money:

Fab. By my reckoning, that's about £60 saved on the cost of a yearly subscription to Norton! (and Norton annoyed me anyway!)

Have just successfully freecycled my first item :T A chap just came to collect some garden chairs we had kicking around... Much better than rubbish tipping 'em. And you never know when we may need some thing from the freecycling network. Karma and all that..
