August 2013. According to the Snowball calculator that's when i could have cleared off my credit cards. Perhaps it will be quicker if I can a 0% card. Well, yes it will be quicker, obviously! :)

But if I only paid the minimum it would take £24 YEARS!!!!!

Feeling a little stressed. Kinda like I can't breathe. It's only my second week of budgeting, and it seems like it's all I can think about. I'm gonna take a break for tonight, watch some TV, try to relax. I'm just irritated by this over credit letter when I was trying so HARD. Grrrr.

Hi Laura, just read through from the start.

Well done on returning and juggling the balances around.

How's the not spending going. I tripped up on mine today as I needed petrol in the car
I really must start up the spending diary again, it does make me think twice.

So, was today a good DFW day? I think it was. :T

BF and I went Xmas shopping today, well, Xmas window shopping. Scouting out all the best deals on the high street compared to online.

Bought beads and chain etc for making a jewellery set for BF's mum for birthday which is in a week or too (it's so rude to have your birthday so close to christmas!) which was £9.60 for earrings and matching necklace (braclet for christmas!) and she is getting a bottle of Chanel perfume worth £42 which I got given as part of some promo work at work for free, so nice cheap birthday present for us, nice lavish gift for her.

Had McDonalds for lunch, got two 2for1 cinema tickets so in long run saving more than spent on dinner

Found out I had won £5 on thunderball lottery last night, so that paid for lunch and small treat from Yankee candle shop (i love a nice cinnamon-y smell in the living room, makes it all cosy). Got a wax scent thingy for £1.05.

Paid half of taxi home £3.50.

Bought bottle of diet coke in bus station 99p (scouted around for cheapest, saved 26p)

Total spend for today £9.59. (£5 of which winnings from last night!)

Total left for rest of week £6.50 (change went in PaD money box!)

Right, gonna make myself a brunch omlette and then get started on my to-do list. Would really like to get started on sorting out all the paperwork in the spare room! :)

Didn't get quite as much done as wanted to, sorting paperwork took too long. So will sort out how much to claim from Barclaycard tomorrow, and list shoes on Ebay! Sold one item today for £9.50 (£8.50 after fees :( ) so will put that towards my PaD at end of month! Food shopping was good though. Stuck to list. Was only £27. Last week £39 so have reduced that a little! :)

Found out had £140 in charges- hope it's a small enough amount they just think 'sod it' and pay up! Written letter, will print it out tomorrow and send it. Will put shoes on Ebay tomorrow.
