Thanks ever so much for this. Now that we haven't got a car anymore it'll come in really handy for taking the kids on daytrips etc,so we won't be stuck at home quite so much. Also the offer to renew seems good as well.

  • Thanks op. I have sent off for one for my sister as mine is still current and she doesn't have internet or any money so will be pleased.

  • If your child is under five you can buy a childs ticket for them and then get the adults discount .Usually it still works out much cheaper.

you can use the railcard for under 4s, you still get 75% off child fare and a third off adult fare so is def worth purchasing if you have a young child, and as posted you can use for a child at 16 if they were under 16 when you purchased the card. Also worth noting you are not asked for id when you travel, my sister and I take it in turns to buy a railcard and we put our name and hubbys name on, so we are covered if either travels.

The 12.00 offer will only be valid to buy for a month after the free card runs out, but cheaper than paying 24.00 so a good bargain after using the freebie card.

Worth noting also make sure you have two names when buying the 12.00 card, so you can use maximum on card 4 adults 4 children.
I wished upon a star tonight that I would see you once more,
To hold you in my arms and tell you how much I love you,
To hear your voice, to kiss your cheek oh for just one more time,
But all I have are memories and a heart full of love and tears.
