How does this work? Does the railcard give you free travel or just a discount on each fare?
if it's anything like the young person's railcard it'll be 1/3 off any ticket, although there are some restrictions (certain 'rush hours' of the day)
but it makes it a LOT cheaper- especially as it's for so many people.

Having checked the original application form it does say that they will try & get the cards out for use in April. But to use it in April, you'd really have to be booking or have booked by now! (For intercity type journeys anyway.)0 -
